Okichuro (Okinawa Garrison Forces Labor Union) was organized in August 1996, and it is composed of more than 600 local national employees of U. S. Military Bases in Okinawa. We take pride in contributing to not only the U.S.-Japan Security Treaty, but to the enduring peace within East Asia region through our efforts in accomplishing our mission in the workplace.

SLOGAN

1. We will work together to enforce and advance World Peace.
2. We will protect the rights and interests of the workers, value our workplace, and take pride in our work.

We treat others with respect, and build trust and friendship between the Union Members.
4. We believe in Liberal philosophy, and we aspire for true democracy that protects our freedom, and rights through being responsible and dutiful.
